Art in Berlin - Tomás Saraceno Print

{gallery}/Blog/2012-01-22_art_in_berlin{/gallery}

Tomás Saraceno's installations shatter traditional concepts relating to place, time, gravity and traditional ideas as to what constitutes architecture.

The gardens hang in the air and allow visitors to float in space. Saraceno draws inspiration from soap bubbles and the incredible strength and flexibility of spider webs.

During three fair days, the visitors were delighted 3 times per day with a fashion performance produced by the well-known Yannick Aellen. The performance was a fusion of fashion, music and art; the result of this combination was an extraordinary placing on stage of ballet dancers who shared catwalk with models who wore Marc Stone looks.

Les Trouvailles de Fiona Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-10-27_Les_Trouvailles{/gallery}

On Saturday, we showcased at "Les Trouvailles de Fiona" with LaLotta and Burri Optic. The show was divided into a dark and a bright part. The dark part was avant-garde influenced and showed the rough side of the man. Black make-up, cords and frames strengthened the look and reminded of Anselm Kiefer. In contrast to the bright part of the show with soft touch and elegant looks.

Campaign Scattered Affairs Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-10-14-Campaign{/gallery}

Today I would like to introduce you the images of our new ad campaign:

Winter landscapes in the forestland, materials such as paper and wood form the framework build this story. Each scene is inspired on various aspects from the work of Anselm Kiefer. In the backdrop of a nearby forest we captured the inner worlds of Anselm Kiefer

Roadtrip part 3: New York Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-10-14-NY{/gallery}

Even if I run from one to the next appointment, I try to create free spaces to get new inspiration. Then I explore the streets and alleys away from tourist routes, visit exhibitions and galleries, and discover small individual boutiques ...

Roadtrip part 2: Berlin Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-10-14-Berlin{/gallery}

I love Berlin. Why? Enjoy my captured moments. Berlin combines old and new, business and creativity, snobbery and anarchy, chic and trash. The earlier boundaries between East and West are gone long time ago. The result is creative freedom.

Roadtrip part 1: Milan Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-10-14-Milan{/gallery}

And these are the first pictures of our collection in Milan.

On one side the collection is in light gray, sand colors and soft materials such as linen and jersey. On the opposite dyed and washed cotton in dark colours contrast, to create a worn look, bright red contrasts the bright and dark side of this collection. More you will to get to know when the collection hits the stores in spring.

Collection autumn/winter 2011 Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-08-15{/gallery}

I transferred the style of Anselm Kiefer to my new collection with different colour layers and completed it with other raw materials. Raw-cut, washed and dyed cotton in used-optic stands for the past and contrasts the soft materials like jersey and cotton. Asymmetric collars in shirts I combine with trousers in low-crotched style. They reflect the artistic avant-garde aspect of Anselm Kiefer's work. Dark colours in various shades of grey are broken with muted green and bright rust tones.

Scattered Affairs Print

{gallery}Blog/2011-08-01{/gallery}

The theme of the collection autumn/winter 11 Scattered Affairs is framed by a confrontation with the past. The installations, paintings and artwork of Anselm Kiefer has inspired my work. In his work he succeeds to produce a relationship between art and history.

Roadtrip Print

Milan, Paris, Berlin, NY: That was my trip last month. The reason: The order and trade show season just started for the new summer collection 2012.

Even if I rush from one to the next appointment, I try to create a free space for new inspiration. Then I explore the streets and alleys away from tourist routes, visit exhibitions and galleries, and discover small individual boutiques and get new inspiration. Have a look here on the first part of my road trip:

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
